Philakade Health Post is the name of our clinic which provides primary care services for the people of the community.
Philakahle Children Home
Philakahle is our local orphanage home to 24 children. Due to lack of funding we are only able to keep 12 children.
Swelihle Pre-School
Our crèche which provide services during the day, we help teenage mothers with their babies while they go to school.
Food Parcel Project
Food Parcel Project is purposely to help our community in critical need. With your help we can extend our hand to many others.
Immediate Needs
We urgently need your assistance with the following needs :
Minibus Assistance for Safe Transport of the Children
We are currently transporting the orphanage children to the crèche and school using a bakkie, which is not allowed by law. It is the only means we have currently. We appeal for a donation of a minibus that we can use to safely transport the children.
Food Parcels
We need to sustain and grow the current programme and we would appreciate food donations as a matter of urgency.
Equipped Ambulance Car
We would really appreciate help with an ambulance to serve the clinic and the whole Embo Community.
Make A Real Change In Someone’s Life
Embo community projects is currently busy with Food Parcel Project which helps our community in critical need. We are making effort in helping as many orphaned children in the Embo community as needed. Embo community projects works hand-in-hand with Philakahle Children home which is currently a home to 24 orphaned children, however, due to Covid-19 effects and lack of funding we have been forced to reduce the number to 12 children.
We believe proper and quality care is the priority rather than having 24 children that could not receive best care support. We also work together with Philakade Health Post which is the local Clinic that provides primary care services. Swelihle Pre-School is our crèche which provide services during the day (Monday to Friday). Helping young teenage mothers with their children so they can go back to school.

Our Mission
We aim to come together as a community to help as many people as we can by expanding our branches nation wide,
Expanding Our Branches
In order to ensure greater access to food for vulnerable rural communities,we would like to expand our branches accross provinces in South Africa.
Large scale feeding programmes
In partnership with various corporates, we would like to provide nutritious breakfast cereals and milk to children in crèches, as well as primary and secondary schools.
Hunger Relief Programme
With the help of the public, we would like to open a national hunger relief programme helping millions of hungry children.
Our Vision
The vision is to place Embo Community projects into a position where it would
be able to sustain existing projects with enough cash flow revenues and be in a
position to respond to natural disasters affecting the Embo community projects
and surroundings.
This we believe would be achieved through continual donations on the website.
Funds coming out of these donations will be used to sustain the running projects, pay operational and staff costs, and invest extra funds for disaster readiness and new
on-demand projects. All donations will be subject to auditing by a reputable audit firm.
Embo Community Projects have gone a long way and contributed to the community and continue to do so, however we believe this is time for growth especially due to the impact COVID-19 has had in our communities, and with no external funding, we find our projects being unable to sustain themselves and have to reduce the aid given to the Embo Community Projects.
Together we can make the world a better place
Creating a world we all want to live in.
